Here is the week in just two pictures! On Monday, we went to the Downtown Market which is banked alongside the Chena River. The live music, smiling faces and shining sun made it feel like a true summer day. Thaddaeus and I each bought a delicious crepe and ate it overlooking the cool Chena water. This building was high up in the sky above us there. The next morning, we stopped along the shores of Ballaine Pond to dip in our fishing lines. Although we only had a few bites (possibly misinterpreted and were probably snags), it was a scenic spot and the dragonflies were intrepid, thrusting life into my listless morning eyes.
